Dr. Griffith's notes to potential and current clients, November 2017:

Notes on scheduling from Dr. Griffith: Most clients seeing me come weekly at the same day and time. Then you and I both can feel more control over our days and spend less time rescheduling. I try very hard to give each of my clients a regular appointment time that is not stressful for him/her to keep. You may need to wait for me to move established clients from your available time to new times that work for them.

Sometimes established clients can talk on the phone with me at their regularly-scheduled appintment time - when they are ill or otherwise unable to keep an office appointment.

I am currently only taking new clients seeking confidential individual sessions. I am not currently offering couples and family therapy.

Please read these short statements (click underlined items) about factors potentially important to new clients, who may need to rule me out as a therapist at this time.
Re: Prescriptions      Court      Reports      Payments and Office Staff
NC Flex and HSA cards      Records      HIPAA Privacy Policies

People wishing to make a first appointment with me should go to
this interested-in-being-a-new-clientpage and send me the information requested there.
Wait for me (Dr. Griffith) to contact you within a few days.

I want to be sure the financial aspects of your sessions with me are, in advance of scheduling, known to be not stressful for you. I do not want to devote our talk time to discussion of finances.

Text (and NOT voice) messages to my personal cell phone 919 260-5894 are a  way for (ONLY) current, established clients to confirm appointments or tell me they are running late for an appointment or to otherwise share personal news.

I may call you from my cellphone
919 260-5894, but please do not call me back at that number. Instead, please text me back at that number or email me at susangriffith@gmail.com rather than telephone me at any number.

A response to any message will not usually be immediate, as I
cannot speak to you during client sessions and sometimes even cannot email or call you back for a few days.
